Before you join

Adult beginners: The adult group welcomes all abilities and says no experience is needed. A kayak or canoe trial costs GBP 10 and is booked through MemberMojo. Both adult and youth groups meet on Tuesday evenings throughout the year.
Junior paddlers: The current Eyot Centre page gives a youth age range of 14 to 18. The older club joining page says 13 to 18. Follow the current host page and confirm eligibility before joining. A separate programme for ages 8 to 14 was last advertised for summer 2025, with no 2026 dates found.
Equipment: The shared fleet includes canoes, kayaks, paddles, plus buoyancy aids. The summer Monday SUP group has six boards available to book. Availability for trials or a particular session is not guaranteed, so reserve through the current booking route.
