Product and fit
Who is KanuHQ for?
Canoe and kayak clubs that want membership, qualifications, fleet, sessions, trips and club checks in one system.
Does it replace Paddle UK systems?
No. KanuHQ manages the local club record. National membership and affiliation stay with Paddle UK.
Does it handle canoe and kayak activity?
Yes. KanuHQ covers canoe and kayak disciplines, craft families, locations and water grades.
What else is built in?
KanuHQ also includes club messages, payments, spreadsheet imports, events, incident reports and private documents. See more built-in tools.
Activity and safety
Does KanuHQ decide whether an activity is safe?
No. Conditions are advisory. The responsible club leaders make every go or no-go decision.
What is a water-edge check?
It is the final club check before launch. It brings the current people, craft, access and conditions beside the leader's decision. Read the plain-English meaning.
Can a leader record no-go when data is missing?
Yes. No-go stays available and keeps the reason and evidence that were known at the time.
Does a failed inspection affect trip planning?
Yes. Failed, blocked or overdue craft and kit appear in the trip readiness checks.
Accounts and data
Can we create a club now?
Yes. A club owner can create a club and use every feature free with up to 20 active members. No card is needed. Create your club free.
Can we import a Google Sheets list?
Yes. Export the sheet as a CSV file, then use the KanuHQ member or fleet import. There is no live Google Sheets sync. See imports and exports.
Can we export our records?
Yes. Club owners can export members, payments, attendance and event replies. Full ZIP and summary exports are also available.
What if we stop using KanuHQ?
Export the records you need before the account closes. Contact us so we can confirm the billing and deletion steps with the club owner. Ask about closing an account.
Payments and support
How is KanuHQ priced?
KanuHQ is free up to 20 active members. Larger clubs pay one fixed member band. Annual billing charges for 10 months. See every price.
Can the club take member payments?
Yes. Clubs can take card payments through Stripe Connect and record bank transfer or member wallet payments. See KanuHQ payments.
