Before you join

Adult beginners

Prospective paddlers can take three trial sessions before buying annual membership. Registration creates a guest account, and the club then approves trial access. Contact the membership team first because packages require an eligibility code.

Junior paddlers

The club describes around age eight as a guide rather than a guarantee. Coaches decide whether a child is ready for the pool or dock environment. An under-18 paddler must have a parent or responsible adult present throughout a session.

Equipment

The September 2026 dock instructions include club boats, paddles and safety kit. Pool boats and paddles are limited, may not suit every paddler and are allocated in booking order. Confirm availability if borrowed equipment is essential.

Accessibility

The dock instructions say there are no changing facilities there. Cleethorpes pool sessions use the leisure-centre changing rooms and lockers. No published club guidance covers accessible water entry, help with transfers or adapted boats, so explain any support needs before booking.

Where the club paddles

Summer training uses Alexandra Dock. The session guide's heading says Thursday, while its main schedule and a September 2026 event say Tuesday. Winter Cleethorpes pool training is listed on Tuesdays at 21:00. Use the live calendar before travelling.
