Fairlop Paddlesport

Fairlop Paddlesport is a volunteer club based at Fairlop Waters in east London. Saturday lake sessions cover kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, while membership opens access to courses and organised trips away.

Before you join

Adult beginners: Adults can start with taster sessions before taking annual membership. Members receive reduced session prices and access to subsidised courses, organised club activity and trips away.
Junior paddlers: A current junior membership option is available, and the club supports the London Youth Games. No single minimum age or supervision rule is published for every activity, so families should check before booking.
Equipment: The current booking pages do not give a complete personal-kit or loan list. Earlier club guidance included session equipment, but paddlers should now confirm boats, safety kit, clothing and footwear through the live booking route.
Accessibility: The national listing records Paddleability activity, changing facilities, showers and toilets. The club does not publish a step-free water-entry or adapted-craft guide, so discuss access needs with the booking team.
Where the club paddles: The club lists Saturday morning lake sessions at Fairlop Waters and runs local river days and weekend whitewater trips. The live Eola page is the current route for membership and activity availability.
