East End Canoe Polo Club trains experienced kayakers and polo players at Shadwell Basin in central London. Members and guests practise three times a week, with teams competing in British and European leagues and tournaments.

Before you join

Adult beginners: New visitors must email before attending and describe their kayaking or polo experience. Sessions are published for Monday and Friday at 18:45, plus Saturday at 10:00. Guests complete the annual form and book each visit through Spond.
Junior paddlers: Under-18s qualify for the concession rate. No minimum age or supervision rule appears in the public guidance, so families should ask before completing a guest or membership form.
Equipment: Guest fees include polo equipment. Visitors bring their own personal clothing. Polo boats are unstable and specialist, so the club expects sound kayaking skills before a first session.
Accessibility: The national directory lists changing rooms, showers and toilets. None of the public sources covers wheelchair routes, accessible changing or adapted equipment. Ask the club and activity centre before travelling.
Where the club paddles: Training takes place at Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre in east London. The centre address is exact, but attendance still requires the club's guest form, Spond registration and advance contact.
