Dundee University Canoe Club
Dundee University Canoe Club is for matriculated University of Dundee students. Pool coaching builds core skills before members branch into whitewater, flatwater trips, canoe polo, surf, freestyle and paddleboarding.

Before you join
- Adult beginners
Membership is for matriculated University of Dundee students. The published pool schedule is Monday 20:00 to 21:30 and Thursday 19:30 to 21:30. New members should contact the club first rather than arriving at a pool session unannounced.
- Junior paddlers
The reviewed material does not state a minimum age or separate arrangements for students under 18. Prospective members should ask the club about eligibility, consent and supervision.
- Equipment
The club says matriculated members receive the paddling kit and coaching they need through a one-off matriculation fee. Ask about size, availability and any trip-specific clothing before booking.
- Accessibility
The pool page confirms an on-site defibrillator. Public guidance does not cover wheelchair routes, accessible changing or adapted paddling. Ask Sport and Active Health and the club about individual requirements.
- Where the club paddles
Core training takes place in the 25-metre pool inside DUSA on Airlie Place. Whitewater, flatwater, beach and loch trips take place elsewhere, so the pool map should not be used for outdoor sessions.
