Before you join

Adult beginners

The national listing describes Wednesday evening peer paddles from April to September, plus trips and social activity. The current membership system lists adult tiers for Paddle UK members and non-members, with approval required and expiry on 31 March 2027. Junior paddlers

The club says youth participation is one of its aims and the current membership system offers a junior tier. The checked sources do not state the minimum age, required swimming ability, supervision conditions or a current junior course timetable. Parents and carers should contact the club about eligibility before applying.

Equipment

The club says it owns some boats for members and stores club and member equipment near the beach. Its main craft are sit-on-top and cockpit kayaks. No current source promises a specific boat, paddle, buoyancy aid, helmet, clothing size or hire arrangement for every session, so confirm what is supplied.

Accessibility

The national listing confirms equipment storage but publishes no accessible-session claim or details for parking, changing, toilets, step-free beach access, water transfer or adapted craft. Tell the club about any access or support requirement before choosing a session.

Where the club paddles

Regular sea paddling starts around Combe Martin Beach, while trips use other venues and winter pool training takes place at an unnamed pool. The beach map is an area reference only. The official Facebook feed controls the meeting place, timing and any weather cancellation.
