Causeway Coast Kayak Association
Causeway Coast Kayak Association runs canoe and kayak trips on inland waters and at sea. Its programme includes the Bann and Roe rivers as well as the north coast. Surf sessions are suspended because the club lacks qualified surf leaders; pool sessions are also suspended while it seeks a venue.

Before you join
- Adult beginners
You can join without previous paddling experience. Ask which forthcoming trip suits a beginner before making arrangements. The club offers adult and family membership, with trip details shared through its members' forum. Its Facebook group requires an invitation and paid membership.
- Junior paddlers
Children must paddle with a parent or guardian and have a buoyancy aid that fits their age and size. No numerical minimum age is given. Family membership covers two adults and children under 18; that category does not guarantee that every trip suits every child.
- Equipment
Canoes, kayaks, paddles and buoyancy aids can be borrowed with coach approval. The FAQ and equipment policy give different accounts of free sessions and contributions. Confirm the charge and available kit when arranging your first outing; do not assume a loan will be free.

- Where the club paddles
Trips use several coastal, river and lake locations. The published programme names the Lower Bann, Lough Beg and the north coast among them. These are examples, not fixed meeting points. Obtain the specific arrival instructions for your booked trip; the former Coleraine pool arrangement is not currently running.
