Adult beginners

The River Tay Sports Hub lists annual membership at £25 for one person or £35 for a family, due in August. The club has no fixed training night and sends session details through Spond. Contact its Facebook page before attending and confirm the current fee.

Junior paddlers

The club describes itself as family-friendly and welcomes children and adults, from newcomers to experienced paddlers. No minimum age, parent-attendance policy or junior coaching ratio appears on its page. Families should ask which outing fits their child and what supervision is required.

Equipment

The club says newcomers can borrow its equipment and use its kayaks, with coaching available to help them paddle safely. The page does not list clothing, safety-kit sizes or what is available on a particular date, so confirm what to bring before the session.

Accessibility

Information about wheelchair routes, changing space, help getting onto the water, specialist boats and one-to-one assistance is not available for Inchyra. Describe what you need and ask how the planned session works from arrival to the river.

Where the club paddles

The club is based at Inchyra beside the River Tay, between Perth and Newburgh. There are no set club days. The river is tidal and shared with other craft. Follow the location and safety instructions sent for your session, and do not use this map to choose a launch.
