Before you join

Adult beginners

The canoe club is part of Bryanston School sport. The current page does not offer public adult membership, visitor sessions or paid tasters. Parents, prospective families and other adults should use the school's contact route rather than arriving at the campus or boathouse.

Junior paddlers

The programme is for Bryanston pupils. The school describes small-group and individual coaching, progressive racing kayaks and a race calendar spanning divisional Haslers, Waterside events and Devizes to Westminster. It does not publish ages, selection rules, session times or spare places.

Equipment

The school says athletes progress through a range of increasingly fast and less stable racing kayaks. It does not publish a kit entitlement or confirm which boats, paddles, buoyancy equipment and clothing are supplied for each pupil. Follow the current staff kit list.

Accessibility

No public canoe-club page explains step-free waterside access, assisted transfers, modified boats or individual support. Families should discuss a pupil's needs with the school before choosing the activity, because the main campus marker does not describe access at a paddling venue.

Where the club paddles

Bryanston publishes its senior school address in Blandford Forum. The campus sits beside the River Stour, but the canoe page gives no public meeting point, launch or visitor instructions. Pupils should rely on the location and access details supplied for each training session, race or expedition.
