Before you join

Adult beginners

This is not a walk-in public adult club. It helps Boys' Brigade leaders provide paddlesport and gain qualifications. The trustees are the first contact, while the public membership area is password protected. Leaders should ask the club about support for their Company, Battalion or District.

Junior paddlers

The charity exists mainly for young people in the Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association, with occasional support for other community organisations. There is no single national age range or open intake. A local group or event organiser must confirm eligibility, consent and safeguarding arrangements.

Equipment

Delivery ranges from lake and canal paddling to whitewater trips, camps and DofE expeditions. No reviewed page promises a standard national stock of boats, paddles, buoyancy aids or clothing. Ask the named organiser what each regional course or event provides and what participants must bring.

Accessibility

The national paddling directory lists accessible sessions for disabled participants. Delivery is regional and event-specific, and the club does not publish one set of venue, transfer or adapted-equipment details. Discuss support and access with the organiser before completing an entry.

Where the club paddles

Coaches are spread across the UK and support Companies, Battalions and Districts. Activities use whitewater, lakes, canals, pools, camps and residential venues. The club has no verified single public base, so the event information controls the meeting point and travel instructions.
