Blyth Kayak Club

Blyth Kayak Club is volunteer-run, with freshwater, coastal, surf and whitewater outings planned around Northumberland and farther afield. Its 2026 pool programme is on hold while Blyth Sports Centre is closed, but outdoor events and membership remain active through WebCollect.

Before you join

Adult beginners: New and experienced paddlers can join through WebCollect. Its live calendar is the reliable source for available outings. The 2026 weekly pool sessions are suspended until the sports-centre ceiling is repaired, so do not travel for a pool session unless the club announces a restart.
Junior paddlers: The club offers junior and family memberships. None of the material checked states a blanket minimum age or every supervision rule. Families should ask whether a specific outdoor event is suitable before paying or booking.
