Arnside Sailing Club
Arnside Sailing Club runs a sizeable paddlesports section on the Kent Estuary alongside its sailing programme. Members can use sit-on-top kayaks and paddleboards for low-tide paddling, social sessions and sheltered-water trips. It also runs lessons and summer club nights at Killington.

Before you join
- Adult beginners
Adults can join individually or within family membership. Beginner lessons and social paddles are available, while use of club craft outside training depends on competence, conditions and availability. Check the current booking before travelling.
- Junior paddlers
Family paddle sessions and kayak or paddleboard lessons are available. For independent low-tide paddling, each child under 12 needs one adult. One adult may supervise up to two children aged 12 to 16. These ratios are safety guidance, not a promise of lesson availability.
- Equipment
Seven sit-on-top kayaks are listed: four singles and three doubles. The club also has 11 paddleboards. Members can use this equipment without a separate hire charge when it is not needed for training, subject to competence and booking. Buoyancy aids must be worn.
