Addlestone Canoe Club

Addlestone Canoe Club offers gentle paddling, touring, sprint, marathon, whitewater, freestyle and stand-up paddleboarding from its Wey Navigation clubhouse. Beginners can start through a try-it, pool or introductory session, while families and experienced paddlers have separate routes.

Before you join

Adult beginners: New adult paddlers are asked to contact the club before attending. Beginners can use a try-it, pool or introductory session. Experienced paddlers can take temporary membership for up to three paddling sessions before deciding whether to join.
Junior paddlers: The club describes activities for all ages, abilities and families. Anyone under 18 needs parental consent. Public pages do not give one universal minimum age, so families should ask which course or session fits the young person.
Equipment: The club lists canoes, kayaks, paddles, buoyancy aids and windproof cags. Hire is included with course or hire fees, while some other use carries a small charge. Check what is included for the chosen session and whether the right size is available.
